Who should enroll?
People of all ages and fitness levels who want to get in great shape FAST! You’ll
never be asked to perform more than you're capable of doing, but you will be pushed to give 100% effort.
What if I'm not very physically fit?
This program is specifically designed to accommodate all fitness levels and make every person feel capable and confident while doing all of the boot-camp exercises. Participants will be given modifications, adaptations and alternatives to accommodate everyone's fitness level. We do ask that every Play More Fitness client consult with their physician before embarking on any new fitness regimen for their own health and safety.
Can I start when a session has already begun?
Yes. We’re always ready to accommodate new clients, no matter when you want to start. We’re happy to calculate a pro-rates fee based on the number of sessions remaining in the four-week period.
Will I get a discount for bringing a friend to sign up?
It is very common that someone wants to bring a friend to workout with. I like it because it creates accountability, leading to faster results. We happily give you 10% off your next session for each person you refer.
Can I bring a friend to watch session?
I do not advise bringing someone to watch you train unless they are looking to join camp. You could get distracted and injure yourself. However, if someone wants to join camp, they are welcome to check out a session free of charge to see if they would like it.
What do I need to bring to camp?
Any type of exercise mat. You will also want to bring water to keep yourself hydrated during camp. Optional items are a towel to dry off with and gloves in the winter. Dress in layers and even if it is chilly out don’t worry, you will get warm very fast! Equally important - always bring a good attitude!
What is a daily workout session like?
No workout session is repeated during your four weeks of training. We keep your interest and your curiosity levels high in anticipation of the workouts. Our warm-ups usually consist of total body flexibility exercises to prepare your system for the upcoming session, and we culminate with exercises to cool the body down. In addition, you will enjoy the combination of personal attention and social interaction that the classes offer.
How soon will I see results?
Performance improvement can take place in as little as a couple days. "Visual Improvement" can take several weeks depending on your effort level. It's very possible to go down 1-2 sizes within the first camp. Remember, everyone's body is different so your results will be unique to you! Everyone is expected to progress. If you aren't, then we will work together to determine if you're not putting in the effort, watching your food intake or you're missing vital boot camp sessions.
How long do people normally continue attending a fitness camp?
Most people take about 3 months to see the results they are looking for. You have to remember; it took you years to get to where you are now, so it may take more than just a few months to get to where you want to be! Some take longer, some take shorter. What people have the hardest time realizing is that fitness is a lifestyle.
What if I can’t perform a certain exercise?
All exercises will be taught and performed with progression. We can always provide you with modified, low-impact exercises to strengthen your body so that you will be able to condition areas that are not as strong.
